As the leaves fall and the mornings get crisp, our crews are wrapping up installs, finishing blowouts, and still tackling a few projects to close out the season.

In just the last two weeks, we managed to squeeze in 115 blowouts 💨 — which pretty much sums up the pace!

This month always reminds us how grateful we are for our loyal clients, our hardworking team, and the chance to serve so many amazing families right here in the Treasure Valley. ❤️

Meet Gator — the real homeowner. Just giving the new dirt his official roll of approval before the sod goes in. ✅🐾

The first 3️⃣ days of a new project are all about the prep work. Carefully mapping out where the sprinklers will go, proper spacing and measurements of each individual sprinkler. Installing proper drainiage. What type of sprinkler needs to be installed, checking the water pressure prior to install. All of these little details will lead to a properly irrigated and trouble free landscape in the future.

When this family (referred to us by another wonderful client here in town 💚) gave me a call, they were feeling stuck. Their home was beautifully landscaped… but to someone else’s style. From inside, they looked out at a massive retaining wall, an unused fire pit, and too many pavers — features that didn’t reflect how they wanted to live in their space.

What they really wanted:
✨ A larger patio area to gather with friends & family.
✨ A stretch of grass for games like cornhole.
✨ Softer, greener views when looking out from their windows in the winter months.

Together, we walked through their objectives and sketched multiple design ideas until the vision became clear. The plan was simple but powerful: remove what wasn’t serving them, and create a space that matched their lifestyle.

So we:
🌿 Removed the fire pit and extra pavers and turned that space into a water feature (installed by the homeowner) 💧
🌿 Softened the rock wall with evergreens & perennials that will spill over next spring
🌿 Added new lawn all the way to the retaining wall
🌿 Poured a fresh concrete patio + walkways to the grilling area, garage, and front yard

Story Time

“While most women joke about wanting to get rid of their husbands… I just wanted to work with mine.” 💚

When I first got a taste of success in network marketing, I dreamed of working side by side with my husband.

Even though I thought network marketing would be the avenue that retired him from law enforcement, the Lord clearly had other plans for us.

When Brandon decided to start a landscaping and lawn care business, honestly, I didn’t see my place in this industry at first. But after just a short time, I realized we had an opportunity to set a whole new standard.

We were going to do things differently. We would break the rules of what people expected—and most of all, we would build this business together.

Brandon and I may have very different roles in our business, but the different jobs and experiences we’ve had in the past prepared us perfectly for what we’re building today.

And who knows—maybe when winter slows landscaping down, I’ll step back into network marketing a little bit. It’s always been a part of my story.

✨ Hydrogen Peroxide – 1 cup per 10 gallons helps kill algae (and it’s wildlife safe!).
🌿 Barley Extract – A natural way to suppress algae without chemicals.
🍃 White Vinegar – 1 cup per 10 gallons keeps algae and scale at bay.
✅ Pet-safe Fountain Treatments – Look for fish/wildlife-safe options like EcoFix or AquaSafe.

🚫 Avoid bleach, chlorine tablets, or copper coins—they’re harsh on pumps and harmful to animals.

An interesting fact about Memorial Day that most people don’t know is that it was originally called Decoration Day, and it began after the Civil War as a way to honor Union soldiers who had died. People would decorate graves with flowers, flags, and wreaths—hence the name.

It wasn’t officially named Memorial Day until after World War II, and it didn’t become a federal holiday until 1971.

Aerate compacted soil to improve root growth and oxygen flow. If you notice bare patches, overseed with a cool-season grass blend to thicken your lawn before summer.⁣⁣
3. 𝐀𝐩𝐩𝐥𝐲 𝐚 𝐁𝐚𝐥𝐚𝐧𝐜𝐞𝐝 𝐅𝐞𝐫𝐭𝐢𝐥𝐢𝐳𝐞𝐫⁣⁣
Use a slow-release, nitrogen-rich fertilizer to feed your grass as it starts actively growing. Aim for mid to late spring, once the grass is consistently green and soil temps are above 50°F.

One of the things I love to do is show up at the end of each project. Mostly, I love to hear what the clients have to share about their experience. Some of the things that this client shared:
* * Turned out better than they could imagined.
* The paver layout and color was a perfect match to their pre-existing fire pit.
* Impressed with the level of skill set that our employees have.
